White Stripes

The first thing I thought of when I saw this skirt was how it was the perfect mix between Marc Jacobs stripes meets Alexander Wangs thigh high slits. This is another white on white combination but the coloured stripes and bold accessories help break it up. Apart from also being a summer must to brighten up and stand out over all of the other plain, pleated maxi's in my wardrobe.

Summer is fast approaching here in Sydney, and one 'trend' it brings me closer to is white on white. I picked up this top while in NYC and couldn't believe it. I'd been imagining this perfect top in my head that was not blouse, nor tee shirt- but rather something in between that could be versatile enough to be worn with nearly everything else in my wardrobe. Hopefully I'm not the only one designing dream pieces in my head before shopping, but when I found this I really should have bought double. Teamed with Somedays lace shorts and the infamous Bec and Bridge lilac akubra.
