White Out

Wearing: Shakuhachi shorts, Zara shirt, blazer and heels, Michael Kors watch, Benah cuff, Gorjana necklace, Vintage and Jacquie Aiche rings.

When I arrived back in Australia from New York I spent one night at home in Sydney where I literally unpacked and repacked my luggage, before heading down to Melbourne for LMFF. Though I'm not sure where I spent more time- at the pier watching the shows or over enjoying the treats inside The Rialto (if you follow mine or Nicoles Instagram's you would know the sugary treats I'm referring to...) where I also snapped these shots out the front of.

Melbourne is known for its "four seasons in one day" which is exactly what we were welcomed with. Wearing jeans to brunch to combat the rain and wind resulted in sweltering in the sunshine by midday. This simple white on white blazer and shirt combo over floral black shorts not only worked out for the transeasonal weather, but the different meetings and events we had during the day into the night.

Flora

I've always wanted to try double floral but thought I would resemble a pot plant too much for general public wear. Coming back to Australia and enjoying the leftover warmth of Summer I discovered a new found love for these pieces I've had for a while but was too hesitant to clash together. A pop of lippy and clutch in the same shade, and somehow it works. I wore this Asos pencil skirt a few nights ago to a show at LMFF, but with a backless dress in the same shade of orange. It is always such a score when you buy something that is so affordable, versatile and modest enough to wear as day or nightwear, but still a bit of fun.
