bondi markets xo

a sweltering day back home in sydney, australia. summer is so welcome to me post london winter, that i’m trying to make the most of it before autumn arrives here. bondi markets on bondi beach were eerily quiet, with crowds of course opting for the beach or air con at home. it was quite nice to wander around while it wasn’t too busy, and lovely to have the time and no crowd pressure to have a chat with some of the stall owners. but in honesty it felt so strangely small and bare then any market i’ve been especially coming from europe, and oddly more expensive.

i did pick up a few items, some sunglasses, an adorable ring made from a vintage brooch, a vintage daisy singlet and a vintage floral summer dress. way too hot to rummage too hard! if you have any recommendations of markets for me to see in sydney, or melbourne even, i would love to hear :)

wearing; vintage daisy dress, thrifted denim vest, sunglasses from bondi markets, vintage fedora hat, vintage boots, topshop tassle handbag.
